Infrared PEMF Therapy Mat

The Infrared PEMF Therapy Mat is a full-body mat that combines far infrared heat, adjustable Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) technology, and an integrated photon light component.

What is PEMF, and what does this mat do?

PEMF stands for Pulsed Electromagnetic Field. It refers to technology that generates a low-level electromagnetic field in short, timed pulses, at a frequency the user can set. This mat produces PEMF output across an adjustable range of 1 to 30 Hz (sine wave), generated by four internal PEMF coils and controlled directly from the handheld unit. Separately, the mat generates far infrared heat through an internal carbon fiber heating layer, with a temperature range of 25°C to 80°C. A third component, the photon light layer, operates independently as well. All three functions PEMF, infrared heat, and photon light can be adjusted separately, so the user controls temperature, frequency, and light according to their own preference.

How does the far infrared heating work?

The mat's heating layer is built from carbon fiber heating wire, a composite material that is lighter than aluminum and more heat-resistant than standard steel wiring. The wire is extremely fine, roughly one-tenth the diameter of a human hair, which allows even heat distribution across the surface of the mat rather than concentrated hot spots. Heat output is adjustable in real time through the handheld digital controller, which displays temperature and session time.

What is the photon light component?

The mat includes 24 embedded LED lights across three colours  (red, blue, and green) with 8 LEDs per colour. The photon light layer operates independently from the heating and PEMF functions and can be used on its own or alongside them.

How does the negative ion component work?

The mat contains natural negative ion stones built into its internal layers. As the mat heats up during use, negative ions are released from these components through a passive physical process; the stones do not require separate power or an active generator to function.

Who is this mat for?

This mat is suited to anyone who wants a single, adjustable heat, PEMF, and light tool for home use, rather than separate single-function devices. It is used lying down, for a set session length, and does not require any preparation, application, or ongoing maintenance beyond normal cleaning. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

How long does a session last?

The controller allows session length to be set anywhere from 5 to 60 minutes (customisable up to 9 hours), and temperature to be set between 25°C and 80°C. PEMF frequency is adjustable from 1 to 30 Hz on the same handheld unit. Time, temperature, and frequency are controlled independently, so the session can be shortened, extended, or adjusted mid-use.

What is the mat made of?

The mat is constructed in multiple layers for insulation, safety, and even heat distribution. Construction includes an antiflaming PU leather outer layer, a polyester fiber net cloth layer, the carbon fiber far infrared heating wire layer, the embedded photon light LED layer, PEMF coils, negative ion stones, natural mineral crystals, a thick firm cotton layer, a temperature sensor layer, an overheat protection layer, and temperature-balancing aluminium foil.
