This compact panel is a red and near-infrared LED light panel, built for regular use in a home setting. It houses 60 LEDs across five distinct wavelengths — 630nm, 660nm, 810nm, 830nm and 850nm — at a light bead ratio of 6:24:3:3:24, drawing 91W of input power. 

What is this panel? It is the 5 fixed-wavelength LED panel that emits light in defined bands across the visible red and near-infrared spectrum, housed in an integrated aluminium enclosure with a mirror-grade lens and directional air-cooling.

How It Works

The compact panel works by directing light from 60 LEDs, split across five wavelength bands, through a mirror-grade lens set at a 30-degree beam angle. This lens geometry is designed to concentrate and direct the light beam rather than diffuse it. Measured optical power density at the panel surface is 190mW/cm² at 0 inch.

How does the compact panel stay cool during use?

The unit relies on a directional air-cooling system built into the housing, which is intended to manage heat during longer sessions rather than rely on passive dissipation alone. The exterior is an integrated aluminium housing with rounded, anti-collision corners, anti-scratch recessed screws, and laser-welded seams — construction details aimed at durability rather than at any claim about how the light itself performs on the body.

What wavelengths does it emit, and why five bands rather than one?

The 630/660/810/830/850nm combination reflects the manufacturer's fixed configuration for this product; Health By Choice does not make claims about what any individual wavelength does inside the body, only what the hardware is built to emit and at what ratio.
